Leaving on a jet plane

Actually, left on a jet plane! Aaron left this afternoon and is now in Denver for his cousin's wedding. He'll be there until Sunday evening. I stayed here for several reasons, but mostly because there is a youth conference here this weekend that I am attending with a few youth from our church. There are supposed to be 3,000+ youth here, so it should be a good time! I think it'll be good for the students from our church to see that there are actually other middle and high school students around the state that are Christians! That, and I'm looking forward to getting to know a few of the students better and to grow in my own faith as well. If you think of it, pray for us!

Glad to hear Aaron made it out there safely. It would have been fun to go to the wedding, but it didn't work out for us either. Oh well. I'm sure you will have a great time at Spring Blitz...I'm assuming that's the youth thing you were talking about. If you see people wearing NorthRidge Fellowship shirts (bright green, blue, pink, etc.), say hello...they're from our church. We've got a group heading up there, too. We'll be praying that it's an awesome time for everyone to grow in their relationship with God and others.

Have I mentioned how much I'm enjoying your blog? : ) Have a great night and I'm sure we'll talk soon.
